The goal of move management is to minimize Relocation Stress Syndrome (RSS) for our clients. To do so, we involve our clients throughout the planning process and address any potential concerns by encouraging questions. We always honor our client’s preferences, pay close attention to detail, and safeguard personal possessions. The new home will resemble our client’s former space as much (or as little) as they choose, which reduces the time it takes to officially settle in. 

We act as your advocate and recommend trusted, vetted professionals/vendors.

The process begins with a free, in-home consultation where we’ll discuss your needs in-depth and assess the contents of your home. During this time, we will work together to create a timeline/action plan and we will develop an estimate based on our discussion. 

From there, we will begin the downsizing process, where we’ll work together to thoughtfully sort through your belongings.

We will then work together to create a floor plan for your new home, and begin addressing the remaining items, including but not limited to: 

• Stage home to prepare for sale 
• Clear/clean out home
• Transfer utilities 
• Pack manage move/unpack/set-up new home 
• Donate/recycle/estate sale/resale 
• Additional home organization as needed 

We highly encourage our clients to work with us and create a floor plan prior to the actual move. This allows us to strategically relocate your belongings, and the movers will know exactly where everything should be placed. This helps to avoid moving furniture that won’t fit, provides the movers with guidance on where to place bulky items, and streamlines the move. 

We utilize a methodical approach stemming from years of project management experience and certification, and do not take your move lightly.
